Myer Christmas Window Display

Most Melburnians know about the Myer Christmas Window Display but for those of you new to Melbourne..........

..........it’s a much anticipated event and the queues to see the display can be enormous so it’s best to get there very early.

There’s plenty of time to see it though as the display runs from early November till the first week of January.

Myers is probably the most famous department store in Melbourne by the way.

There's usually a Christmas Parade or Christmas Spectacular outside their Bourke Street department store a little later in November.........

........The crowds are normally pretty big though so make sure you get there early to find a good view.

They get some high profile acts as their show/parade is so well known. I saw Guy Sebastian singing last year. I'd first seen him at the New Years Eve event at Yarra Park (another fantastic free event). 

Santaland is also a regular event in the store. My daughter loved the little train ride last year and was very excited at posting a letter to Santa.
